![]() Patients always ask me why they should purchase Himalayan pink salt over there regular table salt. I thought I put a little blog together to help outline the benefits of Himalayan salt. Top 3 Reasons you should be using Himalayan pink salt: 1. Rich in minerals and elements: Himalayan pink salt has 84 essential minerals that your body requires. Table salt on the other hand, only has a few. The purifying process of table salt depletes it of its natural minerals. Himalayan pink salt has 15% trace minerals*; whereas, table salt has many additives including anti-caking compounds, iodide and fluoride in some cases (outside of US).
